Terms of Service

These terms apply when you create a BidCloud account or use BidCloud. By creating an account you agree to them. If you have questions, email info@bidcloud.org.

Your account

• You must give accurate information, including about your company.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.
• Accounts are for your own business. Please do not share your login.

Free month

Your free month starts when you finish setting up your company profile and lasts 30 days. You do not need to give payment details to start it, and nothing is charged when it ends.

Plans and payment

• After the free month you can choose a Monthly plan (UGX 50,000 for 1 month) or a Quarterly plan (UGX 105,000 for 3 months). Prices are in Uganda shillings and are shown on the Plan & billing page before you pay.
• Plans are paid in advance, by MTN or Airtel mobile money or by card, through our payment provider, Flutterwave.
• Plans do not renew automatically. We never charge you unless you choose to pay. When a plan ends, you decide whether to pay for another.
• If you pay before your free month or current plan ends, the new plan starts when the current one ends.
• If you think something went wrong with a payment, email us within 14 days.
• We may change our prices. A new price only applies to payments made after we publish it.

When your access ends

When your free month or plan ends, your account is paused: you can still sign in, see Plan & billing and Settings, download your data or delete your account, but other pages and alert emails stop until you pay. We keep your company profile, pipeline, followed entities, alerts and documents while your account is paused, so everything comes back when you pay.

Where our information comes from

BidCloud collects public procurement information, such as tender notices and best evaluated bidder notices, from government sources including eGP Uganda. BidCloud is independent and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, PPDA or any government entity.

Check before you bid

We work hard to keep information accurate, but tender details can change and some summaries, requirement checklists and match scores are produced automatically, including with AI. They are guidance, not advice. Always read the official bidding documents on eGP Uganda or from the procuring entity before you submit a bid. BidCloud is not responsible for decisions you make based on its information.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• copy, resell or republish BidCloud data or features as your own service;
• use automated tools to download data from BidCloud in bulk;
• try to break, overload or get around the security of the service;
• use BidCloud for anything unlawful, including corrupt or collusive bidding.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Our service

BidCloud, its design and its software belong to us. We may add, change or remove features as we improve the product. We provide the service as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or error free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost contracts or indirect losses arising from your use of BidCloud.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, under Your data. Deleting it ends any time left on your plan. We may close accounts that break these terms or if we stop offering the service, and we will give notice where we reasonably can.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.

Changes

If we change these terms in an important way, we will update the date above and let you know by email.
